My teaching of the electric bass is centered around bridging the gap between upright and electric by utilizing basic technical principals from double bass and applying them to electric.  I stress the importance of reading music and being able to read chord charts.  This requires some knowledge of music theory that I incorporate into playing exercises and technique.  I have performed and recorded  over the years in numerous bands and ensembles including the Brian Newman's All Stars (Lady GaGa's trumpet player and arranger), Wall of Ears, Alice Sandahl (La Luz),  Cosmozoa, Bryant Moore Band, Bryan John Appleby, Hey Merseilles, and more.
